Open A.A. Meetings[/button]
The Montgomery Area Intergroup provides this schedule of open A.A. group meetings as a service to member groups, individual A.A. members and other interested parties. A listing in this schedule does not imply approval or endorsement of any group’s particular approach to or practice of the A.A. program.
All meetings on this schedule are Open A.A. Meetings.
Open Meetings are open to anybody interested in our program of recovery from alcoholism. Usually only sober members of A.A. are invited to actively participate, however, each group is autonomous.
Closed Meetings are for members of A.A. only, or those with a drinking problem and a desire to stop drinking. If you are attending a meeting for any reason other than to stop drinking, you might want to attend an open meeting.
